Banana Spirulina Smoothie

I love smoothies! They’re an easy way to pack nutrient dense food, superfoods, supplements, and high quality protein in one jar. What’s also great is that they’re quick to make — perfect for those days when you don’t have time to make yourself a healthy breakfast. This is one of my favorites.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • Handful of kale (stalks removed)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 cups homemade almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina

​Preparations:

1- Mix all ingredients in a high-speed blender..

2- This smoothie came out with a yogurt-like consistency, so I ate it with a spoon..

3- Add more liquid if you’d like a smoother consistency..
